AC: Hola!!! Now it's burritos and tequila time. We flew to Cancun and quickly got some sunshine at Playa del Carmen (very touristic)!! Next was the famous ruins at Chichen Itza which are fabulous, and awesome to see. We got there early and pretty much had the whole site to ourselves. More Mayan ruins in Coba, and spectacular beach front ruins in Tulum. The weather is super warm, the colours, the sounds, the smells, the place is alive and vibrant! We're loving the food, the people and the often very interesting bus rides! Shame about all the over-developed hotel areas on the beautiful coastline.

Campo, it’s a great spot on the Yucatan Peninsular....especially when you get out of Cancun. Mate brings back heaps of memories
